Privacy

Privacy Policy

Yanshur is a marketplace for guest posts and sponsored articles on verified publishers. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why we need it, who we pass it to, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 1 August 2026
We never see your card

Card and wallet details go straight to the payment provider. They are never stored on Yanshur’s servers.

Publishers get the minimum

A publisher receives your article and its requirements — not your billing details or contact records.

Your data stays yours

You can request a copy, a correction, or deletion at any time, wherever in the world you are.

01 — Introduction

Introduction

Yanshur (“Yanshur”, “we”, “us”) operates yanshur.com, a marketplace where advertisers, SEO agencies, and businesses buy guest posts and sponsored articles from verified Arabic news websites and blogs. This Privacy Policy applies to everything you do on the site: browsing publishers, creating an account, placing an order, submitting an article, or contacting us.

It also applies to publishers who list their websites with us. Where a rule applies only to customers or only to publishers, we say so.

The controller responsible for your data is [Registered entity], operating as Yanshur. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the platform.

02 — Overview

Information We Collect

We collect three kinds of information: what you give us, what is created when you place an order, and what your browser reports automatically.

Source What it includes
You give it to us Name, email address, company, billing details, account password, articles and briefs you upload, messages you send our team.
Created by using us Orders, invoices, publication links, order status history, refund requests, saved publishers in your wishlist.
Collected automatically IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and cookie identifiers.

We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data — health, religion, political opinions, biometric data. Please do not include it in article files or support messages.

03 — Identity

Personal Information

When you register, order, or contact us, we collect the details needed to identify you and to invoice the right party:

  • Name — so orders and invoices carry the correct party.
  • Email address — the address we use for order updates, receipts, and support replies.
  • Company name and country — for invoicing and tax treatment.
  • Billing address and, where required, VAT or tax number — to issue a compliant invoice.
  • Phone number — only used if an order needs urgent clarification.

Publishers additionally provide the details needed to list a website and to be paid: the website URL, ownership confirmation, publishing conditions, pricing, and payout information.

04 — Payments

Payment Information

Yanshur does not collect, process, or store card numbers, CVV codes, or wallet credentials. When you pay, you are handed to a licensed payment provider that captures those details on its own systems.

What comes back to us is limited to what we need to recognise the payment: a transaction reference, the amount and currency, the payment method type, the last four digits of the card where the provider supplies them, and whether the charge succeeded or failed.

No full card number ever touches a Yanshur server. If someone claiming to be Yanshur asks you for card details by email or chat, it is not us — report it to us immediately.

05 — Accounts

Account Information

Your account holds your login email, an encrypted form of your password, your notification preferences, your saved publishers, and your order history. We store passwords only as a one-way hash — we cannot read them, and neither can anyone who obtains the database.

We also keep basic security metadata: the dates of account creation and last login, and the IP addresses used to sign in. This lets us investigate suspicious access and warn you about it.

You can update your details at any time from your account, or ask us to close the account entirely.

06 — Orders

Order Information

An order on Yanshur carries more than a line item. To deliver a placement we hold:

  • The publisher and package purchased, with the price and currency paid.
  • The article you upload, or the brief you provide for our writing service.
  • The target URLs, anchor texts, and link attributes requested.
  • Any images or files attached to the order.
  • The status history — under review, approved, published — and the live publication link.
  • Messages exchanged about the order, and any refund request and its outcome.

This record is what lets you prove a placement exists years later, so we keep it for as long as described in Data Retention.

07 — Cookies

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a site. It lets the site recognise the same browser on the next page or the next visit. We use four categories, and only the first is strictly necessary.

Category What it does Set by
Essential Keeps you signed in, remembers your cart through checkout, and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. The site cannot function without these. Our Store Management System
Preferences Remembers your saved publishers (wishlist), currency, and display choices so they survive a reload. Yanshur
Analytics Counts visits and tells us which pages and publishers get attention, in aggregate. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
Security & performance Filters bot traffic and serves cached pages from a location near you. Cloudflare

You can delete cookies or block them entirely in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and checkout. Where the law requires consent before non-essential cookies are set, we ask for it first, and you can change your answer at any time.

08 — Analytics

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the marketplace is used: which publishers are viewed, where visitors arrive from, and where they get stuck. The reports we read are aggregated — we are looking at patterns across thousands of sessions, not at any one person’s browsing.

Analytics data is collected under a pseudonymous identifier, and IP addresses are truncated before storage where that feature is available. We do not sell analytics data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.

If you would rather not be measured at all, you can decline analytics cookies, use your browser’s Do Not Track setting, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

09 — Purposes

How We Use Data

Every use of your data falls under one of these purposes, and we do not repurpose data outside them without telling you.

Purpose What it means in practice Legal basis (GDPR)
Deliver orders Passing your article to the publisher, tracking status, returning the live link. Performance of a contract
Take payment Charging the amount due, issuing invoices, handling refunds. Performance of a contract
Support Answering your questions and resolving disputes. Performance of a contract
Improve the platform Analytics, error reporting, testing changes. Legitimate interests
Security and fraud Detecting fraudulent orders, abuse, and unauthorised access. Legitimate interests
Marketing emails Occasional updates about new publishers or features. Consent, withdrawable at any time
Legal and tax Keeping invoices and records that the law requires us to keep. Legal obligation
10 — Communication

Communication

We send two kinds of email, and they are governed differently.

Service emails

Order confirmations, review notices, published-link notifications, invoices, refund outcomes, password resets, and security alerts. These are part of the service you bought, so they are not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while you have an active account or order.

Marketing emails

New publishers, feature announcements, and occasional offers. We only send these if you opted in, every one carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately without affecting your orders.

Messages you send us — by email, through the contact page, or about an order — are stored with the related order or support record so the next person who helps you has the history.

11 — Fraud prevention

Fraud Prevention

A marketplace that takes payments and publishes links attracts abuse. To protect customers, publishers, and ourselves we:

  • Log IP addresses and device information at sign-in, order, and payment.
  • Screen orders for patterns associated with stolen cards and chargeback fraud.
  • Rely on the fraud checks run by our payment providers, which may score a transaction and decline it.
  • Review accounts that submit content designed to harm a publisher’s site.

Where an order is declined or an account restricted on these grounds, we will tell you and give you a route to contest it. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without human review.

12 — Publishers

Sharing Information with Publishers

Yanshur sits between you and the publisher. To publish your article, the publisher needs the article — not your identity or your payment record.

Shared with the publisher
Article and images Yes — this is what gets published.
Target URLs, anchors, link attributes Yes — required to place the links correctly.
Publishing instructions and deadline Yes.
Your name and email No, unless you ask us to introduce you, or the publisher’s own rules require an identified author.
Billing address, invoices, payment details Never.
Your other orders or browsing history Never.

Publishers are bound by their agreement with us to use what they receive only to fulfil the order, and not to reuse or resell it. In the other direction, the publisher information you see on the marketplace — website, metrics, price, conditions — is provided for your purchasing decision and is not to be scraped or redistributed.

13 — Processors

Third-Party Services

We use established providers rather than building everything ourselves. Each one processes only the data it needs, under a contract that restricts what it may do with it.

Service Role Data involved
Store Management System Store, cart, and order engine running on our own hosting Account, order, and invoice data
Google Analytics Usage measurement Pseudonymous usage and device data
Google Tag Manager Loads and manages measurement tags Cookie identifiers
Cloudflare Security, bot filtering, and content delivery IP address, request metadata
PayPal Payment processing Payment and billing data, held by PayPal
Paymob Payment processing for regional methods Payment and billing data, held by Paymob
Stripe Payment processing — planned, not yet enabled Payment and billing data, held by Stripe
OpenAI APIs AI-assisted search on the marketplace and optional writing assistance The text of the query or draft you submit
Email delivery services Sending order, account, and support email Your email address and the message content
i

On AI features: when you use AI-assisted search or writing help, the text you submit is sent to the provider’s API to generate a response. We do not send your billing details, and we do not permit the provider to use your submissions to train its models. Please do not paste confidential client material into an AI field.

14 — Gateways

Payment Providers

Payments are handled by PayPal and Paymob today, with Stripe planned. Each is an independent controller of the data it collects at the moment of payment, and each holds its own certifications for handling card data securely.

When you pay, you are subject to that provider’s own privacy policy in addition to this one. We receive only the confirmation and reference described in Payment Information. If you need to know exactly what a provider stores, read its policy — we link to the active provider at checkout.

Publisher payouts are made through the payment channels agreed with each publisher, and the payout details a publisher gives us are used for that purpose alone.

15 — Security

Data Security

We protect your data with measures appropriate to the risk:

  • All traffic to and from the site is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in readable form.
  • Administrative access is limited to staff who need it, and the login page is not at a guessable address.
  • Cloudflare filters malicious traffic before it reaches our servers.
  • Card data is out of scope entirely, because it never reaches us.
  • Backups are taken regularly and stored securely.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data and creates a real risk to you, we will notify you and the competent supervisory authority without undue delay, and tell you plainly what happened and what to do.

16 — Retention

Data Retention

We keep data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

Data Kept for
Account details While your account is open, then up to 12 months after closure.
Orders and invoices As long as the applicable tax and accounting law requires, typically five to seven years.
Submitted articles and files The life of the placement plus 12 months, so a delivered link can be verified.
Support messages 24 months from the last message in the thread.
Analytics data Up to 14 months, in pseudonymous form.
Marketing consent records Until you withdraw consent, plus proof of the withdrawal.
Security and access logs Up to 12 months.

When a retention period ends, we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.

17 — Your rights

User Rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Show you what we hold — a copy of your personal data and an explanation of how it is used.
  • Correct it — fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete it — remove your data, except records we are legally required to keep, such as issued invoices.
  • Export it — receive your data in a common machine-readable format.
  • Stop marketing — unsubscribe, with immediate effect.
  • Close your account — permanently, at any time.

Write to privacy@yanshur.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first — that check protects you, not us. Exercising any of these rights is free and will never disadvantage your orders.

18 — GDPR

GDPR Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the rights above plus these:

  • Restrict processing — freeze the use of your data while a dispute about its accuracy or our grounds is resolved.
  • Object — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling for fraud scoring.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
  • Complain — lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. We would rather you came to us first, but that is your right, not our permission to give.

The legal basis for each purpose is set out in How We Use Data. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights and will share that assessment on request.

19 — CCPA

CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing for you to opt out of, because we do not do it in the first place.

To make a request, write to privacy@yanshur.com with “CCPA request” in the subject line. An authorised agent may act for you if they provide written proof of authorisation.

20 — International

International Users

Yanshur serves customers worldwide and works with publishers across the Middle East. Running that marketplace means your data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own, including Egypt, the European Union, and the United States, depending on where our providers operate.

Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — typically the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or a finding of adequacy for the destination country — and we require the same level of protection described in this policy regardless of where the data sits.

By using the platform from outside those regions, you understand that your data will be processed in the locations described above.

21 — Children

Children’s Privacy

Yanshur is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Accounts may only be opened by adults acting for themselves or for a business.

If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact privacy@yanshur.com and we will delete it and close any related account.

22 — Changes

Changes to this Policy

We update this policy when the platform changes — a new payment provider, a new feature, a new legal requirement. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.

For minor clarifications, we simply publish the new version. For changes that materially affect your rights or how we use your data, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site before they take effect, so you have time to review them.

Continuing to use Yanshur after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

23 — Contact

Contact Information

Questions about this policy, or about the data we hold on you:

We aim to answer privacy requests within 30 days. If your request is complex, we will tell you within that period and explain how much longer we need.

Still have a question?

Read the Terms of Service for how orders and placements work, or write to the desk and a person will answer.
